Thoughts on Ryan Fredericks.
How do the great West Ham supporters feel about this bloke.

He’s pace is obviously bloody brilliant and he looked ok against Liverpool IMO. He’s passing wasn’t great but I really hope it works out for him.

Thoughts you miserable wankers?

Re: Thoughts on Ryan Fredericks.
He struggled with injuries to start with and didn't really get up to speed with the pace of the Premier League.

He has potential. With Zabaleta I'm hoping he can TUTOR him.

Hope he doesn't come across Liam Neeson..

Got talent, needs a consistent run of games to get into a rhythm and build confidence.

Re: Thoughts on Ryan Fredericks.
2nd half was better than the first and his pace preventing several dangerous moments

his distribution is my main worry which hopefully will improve with confidence

i really like the way he leaves a foot in, west ham need some of the kind of defending scare teams off although worried he'll pick up a few bookings

done very well considering his last game was against league one oppo then managed to keep liverpool quiet down his wing.

If this does mean zaba is nearing end of his playing days then i hope he is given a job by MP as coach

My next door neighbour is a Fulham supporter.. gets over there quite a bit... rates him highly...

He needs more game time.

Hopefully he plays more regularly and we keep Zab for next year aswell.

hopefully zaba will be here next season, two years learning and training with him will be perfect for ryan

Re: Thoughts on Ryan Fredericks.
Decent looking in a more settled defence than he started the season with.

Can't teach pace but there are many things you can.

As said, needs more time.

Thoughts?

You probably should have worked out the difference between he's and his by now.

Re: Thoughts on Ryan Fredericks.
Looked shaky start of season but was impressive at Wimbledon and again monday night. I would give him a run of games, looks to be ok defensively and hoping he can be a threat going forward with his pace.

Completely rubbish (way under expectation) at the start of the season, two encouraging performances since he's come back from injury.

Maybe he just needed a bit of time.

Thought he was excellent against Liverpool - apart from one mad lunge.
He should be in against Palace. None of their wingers will outrun him that's for sure.

Re: Thoughts on Ryan Fredericks.
I thought his defending and passing were not very good. Antonio helped him out a lot. But has to be said clean sheet from his side against the Scousers is a good job. I prefer Zabaleta, but yes he needs a rest and would be good to properly test Fredericks to see if he can do a job next year.
Probably should not say, but I quite liked Byram. Anyone know how he is doing at Forest?

Sven Roeder 11:11 Wed Feb 6
Re: Thoughts on Ryan Fredericks.
Byram did his knee(?) in his first game at Forest. Of course.

Thought Fredericks looked a bit rusty against Liverpool which is not surprising as he probably hasn’t played at that speed for a long time if at all.
Needs games to get up to speed so let’s give him a chance. Expect Zabaleta will come back in at Palace though

Opps
Barca just equalised against Madrid. Messi on now terrorising their defense.

I hope he gets run in the side, bit rusty but you can see the potential is there, cant fault his commitment and certainly has pace, hope he comes good.

I thought he looked like a decent prospect for long term right back
